Deryneia is next to the large town of Paralimni and only a
ten-minute drive away from the beach, whilst the motorway
leading to all the other cities is literally around the
corner. The village is also right next to the city of
Famagusta and this makes it a great investment. According to
many reports, the return of this beautiful city to its
rightful owners is in the foreseeable future and since
Deryneia is with-in a stones throw of Famagusta, the value
of Properties in the area is expected to substantially
increase. The popular resorts of Protaras and Ayia Napa are
both about a 10minute drive away as is Cape Greco National
Park.

Dherynia like many other villages scattered about Cyprus, is
embodied by ancient sites and interesting churches. There
are three ancient churches with the oldest dating back to
the 15th Century. All these historical churches have many
fascinating ancient artefacts and icons, with many dating
back to the 17th Century.
This is a fast growing village becoming more modern as time
goes by, while still holding onto its ancient history.
Dherynia has started to expand its' facilities and clothing
boutiques to entice more locals and tourists to visit for
the day. There are many modern eclectic style furniture
shops to more rustic pine furniture shops that have sprung
up in recent times to take everyone's interest.
The views from Dherynia extend across to the ghost town of
Famagusta, which is presently and partly under the
jurisdiction of the United Nations since the occupation of
the Turkish in 1974 of the Northern side of the Island.
Famagusta was once the most popular and sort after holiday
resort in the Mediterranean Sea. Dherynia village quiet and
peaceful, you can feel safe and secure for property's
security and your family's safety at all times.
